Bonus Post: Neighbor Lookup for Hostess Coaching

I posted a little tip on my Facebook Page today, and judging by the response that I got, this is not as common knowledge as I thought it was!  Here’s the tip:

When hostess coaching, do you use neighborhood lookup to help your hostess come up with her guest list? It’s a great way to come up with the names and numbers of your neighbors, if you know them by sight, but not by name!  Works for Canadian addresses too.

Happy hostess coaching!

This is very cool. I didn’t know that it existed. I will be using this on a regular basis.

I just used it to be nosy and see the street where I grew up— see who was still there and who was no longer listed. so fun to see a kid who was maybe 6 when I moved listed as being in her early 20’s. nostalgia.

ok then I used it for my own street and it’s mostly correct although it named a couple people who passed away.

I will TOTALLY be using this tool, thanks!

I put in my address just to see what would happen and it says there are no results! So, does that mean I really don’t have neighbors?

Hmmm…maybe it works better in some places than others?

I just checked our neighbors in our current townhouse community. Immediate neighbors listed were ‘several tenants ago.’ Our own address had a former tenant listed: we’ve been here eight and a half years! Maybe this works better with residential home addresses.
