Come Meet the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF)

Have you heard of the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF)?

You may not have. But it’s an organization that’s been around since 1973, and it benefits you in ways you might not even be aware of.

The DSEF was founded when a lot of states were legislating against direct selling, due to a lack of understanding about how it works, and the ethics we adhere to. A group of companies got together to educate the public about direct selling, and serve as the companies’ good will ambassador to the public. The DSEF now works with organizations such as the Better Business Bureau to provide information on consumer protection, women’s empowerment, business ethics, and so much more. They’ve been responsible for a lot more understanding among the general public about what makes this industry so empowering for so many people.

The DSEF also gives you tools to help build your business while giving the public the facts about direct selling as an entrepreneurial option. Their newly launched Facebook Page showcases a number of videos that are already going viral, giving some GREAT information about what direct selling is, and how it benefits people.

Most importantly, it sticks to the facts…the ethics that are so important to our industry, the integrity, the hard work. You know that ethics in direct sales is incredibly important to me. That’s why I support the DSEF, and encourage every company in this industry to do so as well. I’m proud to have the DSEF as a client. The DSEF helps us build partnerships and give opportunity to people that need it. Our industry is making a big difference by supporting the Direct Selling Education Foundation. I urge you to make sure your company is a DSEF supporter too.

I also invite you to come and check out the DSEF’s new social media presences. Come and join the conversation!

So thankful for this organization and that you pointed it out to us Jennifer! After you mentioned them on fb yesterday, it took me a split second to ‘like’ their page! I look forward to sharing their videos and other tools. Awesome to have this validation and guidance for our industry. We’ve all been approached by ‘not so virtuous’ pressure packed network marketers (just got to experience that myself yesterday!). It’s not fun and I just want to shout, “You’re making it look bad for the rest of us!!” So, once again, I’m very thankful for the DSEF and the education, ethics, and empowerment it is providing for our industry. Also thankful for my company Arbonne International for adhering to a high code of ethics.
