I am wondering how long a session is? I noticed at the three locations the program is being offered each ends on different dates. For example, the Worcester site is from Oct to Dec. The NY site is from Oct to Nov.

      Hi Michelle,
The difference in dates has to do with how long the individual sessions run. One location is running all day sessions, while the other 2 are doing evening sessions. Contact the individual location for specifics. All 3 are covering the same content, however.

Jen, I know this is just launching, but will there be opportunity for direct sellers, seasoned in the business,to teach these classes at their local community college? From time to time I’ve toyed with the idea of developing and teaching similar classes at our community college where my husband teaches.

Maureen, I believe these will be taught by the entrepreneurship faculty at the colleges, but I suppose it’s up to each college who they select.

This sounds great! I’m going to try to register for the classes here in MN – do you know if they need any assistance in teaching the classes when they are ready to move forward?

Shirley, as I commented to Maureen above, I believe these will be taught by the entrepreneurship faculty at the colleges.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This is so exciting and I know it will make a difference in how others view direct sales as a business. This will definitely give credibility to our choice of career and hopefully quiet those nay-sayers!!

I just shared this link with my fellow Just Jewelry consultants in a our private facebook group. I can’t wait to enroll in this program the minute it hits my area!!

Just curious how you get certified to teach one of these classes? I’ve been dreaming of something like this since I really learned what direct selling was. I think the beginning of my life outside of college would have been so different if I had the opportunity to really understand the value of a career in Direct Sales while I was in college. This is so exciting!!!

I’m not sure Andrea. I believe it will be taught by the faculty of the colleges. These are people with degrees to teach entrepreneurship, I believe.
