Yes, Ning groups are good. But they’re going to start charging for them this summer. Facebook is a free option.

Oops…I meant to put in the post. That I was also thinking of having the a team group/page could also be good promotions for the business as well (new recruits). What do you think of this too?

Hi Jennifer,

Right now I have a few fan pages. One for my business, another for party plans as a whole and another for my fiance’s business. I love how easy and quick it is to use. I have never used a group however. I do have a questions. If I wanted to create an interactive place on Facebook for just my team (without the members or content being public) should that be a group? Do you even recommend this at all? I really like the fan page option, but it’s all public. I know I could also just put my team into a “list” and customize my posts. Do you have any ideas for bringing a team to the same place on FB? Again, I really like fan pages, but actually worry about others friending my team and reading our business. :/
