New Beginnings

New Beginnings from http://jenfongspeaks.comToday I am marking an ending and a beginning. I have been fortunate enough for the last year to serve as interim President for a high-ticket direct selling company launching here from Europe. Sometimes when you are a consultant for many years, it can be very helpful to go back into the corporate world for a while and get some real-world, practical experience. In my role, I learned a lot about myself as a leader while managing things like forecasts, budgets, operations, technology, staff development and more. And of course, marketing! I walked into a role with no English language content at all, and I really enjoyed putting together a digital and print footprint for future customers and consultants alike.

That role, however, has come to an end, and I am delighted to return to the consulting world (at least for now) and work with the many amazing companies I have come to love over the years, as well as many new ones.

The marketing and technology space continues to evolve, and I am excited to explore with you new and proven methods to generate leads, support customers and grow your businesses. Today marks the beginning of this next era in my life, and I can’t wait to dive in. Thank you for being on this journey with me. I can’t wait to connect with you!

I would love to hear from you. Where are you finding challenges in your business? What topics would you like to read more about? How can I serve you? I would love to read your thoughts in the comments as we begin this journey together.

    Hi Jen!

Great news! I echo Jennifer’s comment — you helped guide and solidify the path we’ve taken as a social media department, and personally, your friendship as we tackled new projects has been invaluable.

Welcome back to the blog world and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts and read your advice when it comes to maximizing the power of live video (something I’m very interested in diving into more).

    Take care,

Thanks for commenting Tim, and the kind words! I have always been impressed with USANA’s cutting edge social strategy and look forward to exploring all that’s new as companies like USANA demonstrate best practices! I’ve been loving watching the evolution of Periscope and other media. It will be fun to really focus on ways to make it useful for business!
