I’m super happy about a new feature that Facebook has launched for all Facebook Pages. It’s individual post insights, and it lets you see how many times an individual post from your Page has been displayed (Impressions), and the percent of people who have interacted with this post (Feedback). Pages with 10,000 or more fans have had this feature for a while, but now everyone gets it, and that’s a good thing.
Why am I so excited about this? Because it gives you a really clear idea about the posts that most engage your fans. So if, for example, you ask a question in your post, what percentage of people who see it respond? And if you just ask for a “Like” as opposed to a comment, does it make a difference?
By taking some time to focus in on the feedback that you’re getting on each individual post, you can really improve your interaction with your fans. And that can lead to more fans, which can ultimately result in more business.
You can read more about this feature here: http://www.insidefacebook.com/2010/11/23/facebook-insights/ This is GREAT news for people with Facebook Pages.
What kind of posts do you write? How will this feature help you improve? Would love to read your thoughts in the comments.

How are the number of impressions determined? By how many of your follower/fans have such a post in their News Feed?
By how many times someone visits your page and such a post is on the first screen?
A combination?
And these are not unique users, but impressions, so does that mean that if a follower/fan logs on to Facebook multiple times a day, that each time would be considered an impression (if such a post is in their News Feed)?
And would re-posts be included?
