Reading: When Party Plan and Social Media Collide

DSN010-0709I co-wrote an article this month with Alan Luce, president of Luce & Associates (a direct sales corporate consulting firm that I am associated with) called When Party Plan and Social Media Collide. In it, Alan interviews me about my thoughts related to social media, and how it specifically applies to the party plan side of direct selling.

I invite you to check out the entire article here: It will give you some great ideas about how social media specifically applies to direct sales, and what direct sales companies should be doing right now with social media (as well as mistakes to avoid.)

And if you’d like to find out more about my work with Luce & Associates (which is an INCREDIBLE company, full of VERY smart and experienced people in direct sales), you can check out

Thank you for this article. I am an Independent Stylist for Stella and Dot, a boutique style jewelry direct sales company. The CEO and Founder, Jessica Herrin, is a strong advocate for the use of social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Stella & Dot is approaching the direct sales model to fit today’s world of social networking. Indeed, many of the top Stylists have incorporated social networking into their marketing efforts.
