Technology Trends Your Direct Sales Company Must Be Ready For

Presenting at the DSA Annual Meeting in San Francisco

The Direct Selling Association’s Annual Meeting begins this coming Sunday in Grapevine, TX. Over 1,200 executives from companies throughout the industry will gather to network, learn, and celebrate this year’s accomplishments. This meeting is truly a highlight of the year for me, and I’m looking forward to seeing friends old and new who are helping to shape the future of our great industry.

One of the highlights for me is the workshops. I have the real privilege of serving on the DSA’s Education Committee, and we’ve been hard at work for months planning sessions that take into account the needs of a current direct selling company. With topics like overseas manufacturing options and reimagining the direct sales party, I think we’ve got an exciting line-up that’s sure to meet the needs of attendees.

I’m excited to be presenting a session called “Beyond Facebook: Online Communication Trends for Direct Sales” that will cover 5 important technology tools that direct selling companies HAVE to be on top of. Along with Kristen Jacobs from Creative Memories and Brett Duncan from Mannatech, we’ll not only tell you WHAT, we’ll also show you who you can talk to get started and what a good use looks like for each tool. This highly interactive, hands-on session will feature information on gamification, Pinterest, mobile apps, texting, and video options.

Our session is in the last bank of workshops on Tuesday at 1:45. I hope you’ll join us.

Are you going to Annual Meeting? What are you most looking forward to? Please share in the comments below!

What an exciting time for you! I wish I could attend myself, but a trip to SF is not in the cards. I would love to listen and learn from your Beyond Facebook session.
