These Are a Few of My Favorite Things…

I love direct sales products. I really, really do. They are of remarkable quality, and they’re special. You can’t just run to the local big box store and pick them up.

I thought I would share with you some of the direct sales products I have in my room right now. And maybe I’ll make this a weekly thing! 🙂

And this is just a small sample of the products from so many wonderful companies in the direct selling industry that enrich my life. You can see a full list of direct sales companies that are DSA members on their website. Some of the products I’ve featured were purchased from consultants. Some were product samples from companies I work with (full disclosure.) All are awesome, and a regular part of my life.

Which direct sales company products do you use?

I was on vacation when this originally posted so I thought someone would have shared their LOVE of The Longaberger Company by now, especially our hand woven baskets that are 100% Made in America. As we all know, passion for the product is what helps us do well in our business and I have been passionately selling Longaberger baskets and home decor items and using them in my own home for over 12 yrs. Remember, friends don’t let friends buy wicker!

    Lindt Chocolate R.S.V.P. !!

Lindt Chocolate now has a Direct Sales Line. This company has been in business for over 165 years and is the maker of Premium Chocolate. They offer lot of different chocolates to choose from.

I use many items from different Direct Sales Companies!! Each is unique in its own way.

Love this story-book idea and will have to use that idea to tell my own story….soon!

I’m a former sales manager/trainer/wife and mom who jumped at the opportunity to the ride the coat-tails of the dermatologist who created ProActiv as they set out to change the face of skincare and lives with their signature line of products, Rodan + Fields Dermatology.

My goals were to find a new, creative option in which I could still mold my schedule around my kids, and still have time to volunteer at school and in my community. I have been profoundly blessed to find more than I was looking for with this business model and compensation plan!

My goal today…is to make it to the top of Rodan + Fields pay plan this year and give my husband the opportunity to retire from his 25 years of Corporate America by May of 2012!

Creating financial freedom for my family is rewarding but helping others to duplicate this success is what makes this the best type of business in the world!

And, I love this forum, Jennifer! Thank you for bringing us all together!

Love this post, Jen. Especially women sharing with women about the products they love AND use.

As an Arbonne consultant, I am a devoted user of the RE9 anti-aging skin care (cleanser, toner, serum, eye creme, day creme and night creme). I started using the line about three years ago (before becoming a consultant) and it has given me a flawless complexion from which I receive daily compliments. The age-defying neck cream has given me a firm, smooth neck without those telltale creepiness. At age 54, I’m delighted to show off my face, courtesy of Arbonne!

Other must-have and now favorite products from the new line of Arbonne Essentials (health & wellness) include Daily Power Packs for Women (best no-repeating vitamins on the market), Antioxidant & Immunity Booster (gets me through the 3-5pm slumps, Omega-3 (cleared my brain fog once and for all–ask me for the research, I’ll share), and Women’s Balance Menopause Support (no more hot flashes, night sweats or mood swings–I successfully transitioned off HRT using this without ANY problems).

Direct selling is a great way to supplement your income, or replace your income if you so choose. Women are leading the way here!

I totally agree Jennifer…direct sellers offer such wonderful and unique products! As I am a Wildtree rep I am a HUGE fan of our all natural spices, grapeseed oils, etc. and in all honestly, it has totally changed the way I cook and simplified my life! And as I am a “foodie” I have several great Pampered Chef items. I am also a jewelry junky so have a crazy amount of Silpada jewelry from a party I hosted a while back and a great necklace from Premier.

    Great idea, Jennifer!
I always try to support my fellow direct sales consultants. I’m glad you love your Thirty-One Skirt Purse; the Ruffled Skirt is my favorite.

We look forward to seeing you at National Conference.

This is a GREAT thread although I would LOVE to see more folks listing some Tastefully Simple products along with their other FAVS! 😉

I’m a HUGE DS supporter as well. I have about 8 pieces from GigiHill and get a TON of compliments on them…especially when I travel.

I have Scentsy all over my house. I’m burning a “Grass” candle from Gold Canyon. I adore my pieces from Stella and Dot and can’t wait to wear my “Garden Party” during an upcoming Executive Retreat to Florida.

I use Pampered Chef tools, Cleaver Container organizing goodies, wear Kika Paprika, have a bed FULL of Private Quarters and on and on! Honestly, I could go on for days with this thread.

Oh and I LOVE Tastefully Simple’s Spinach Herb. I use it all the time. So happy to see so many supporting one another!

Since I’m a Creative Memories Consultant, I absolutely love them and use StoryBook Creator Plus practically every day for creating digital scrapbook pages, invites, flyers and more.

Mary Kay – the Timewise line is great for my sensitive skin.

Pampered Chef – I love to eat, but not really to cook, so kitchen gadgets are a must-have for me – favs are any piece of stoneware, used almost daily, food chopper, Santoku knife.

Tupperware – we home bake gluten-free stuff, so stock a multitude of different flours and starches, those are stored in Modular Mates, leftovers are in tupperware in frig and freezer.

Cabi – just got this red Grecian top that might end up being my Spring/Summer fav.

Jockey Person-to-Person – Love the purple modal jacket.

I LOVE this sharing. So, here are a few of my favorites:
    * Lia Sophia jewelry (my primary business) is my choice when accessorizing any outfit and I was sure challenged when deciding which pieces to bring with me for our upcoming week in Hawaii (we’re celebrating my mom’s completion with chemo!!!)
    * Artmans Creations provides beautifully hand crafted jewelry cases to house and display all my jewelry
    * Melaleuca products enable me to clean “green” (like Melapower laundry detergent) and stay healthy (Vitality 6 for general nutrition and heart health)
    * Mary Kay provides me with the amazing TimeWise skin care line as well as a variety of great supplements and color cosmetics
    * Creative Imaginings keeps me in stock with handmade gift cards for ALL my card-giving needs
    * Stampin’Up provides me with all the supplies I need for making the gift cards
    * Pampered Chef stocks my kitchen with a multitudes of kitchen gadgets that feed my cravings for cooking and baking
I could go on and on and am always looking for new ways to support fellow consultants in other direct sales companies.

    Ohhh, Direct Sales

    Of course I use from

Jordan Essentials (I’m a rep) use Sea Spa Shower Gel, Oatmeal Milk and Honey Shampoo, Anti Aging Serum, Firming Serum, Moisturizer with Soy, and mineral makeup including our new mascara, shea butter and more . . . but I’m a walking advertisement for DS.

Park Lane Jewelry — switch off on several of their watches, and necklaces

Miche Bags — love being able to change the covers out and have all 3 size purses

Scentsy — night light and regular plug in . . . just love the scent Cherry Clove Chutney and stocked up on their last bring back my bar event.

Private Quarters: love their wrap around and their bamboo towels

Homemade Gourmet — used a couple times a week

Tupperware — just love their rock and serve dishes
Pampered Chef — love their chopper, Veggie Peeler, baking racks (even use the backing racks in the JE Show Displays)

hmmm I know that there are others like Creative Memories, Avon and so forth that I also use.

Jennifer, you are right about the quality products of most direct selling companies. I am glad you acknowledge that you are a fan and use them. I love being an AVON Lady. I am excited about selling their new company, Tiny Tillia. Their products for mom and baby are soft, fun and unique. I also think the premium shopping experience of shopping at home is a plus. Thanks for your blog. Your tips are great!

We’re on the same page Jennifer! As an Arbonne Consultant I use products from every category we cover, but have to say that one the Makeup Primer and RE9 Advanced Serum are my must-haves!

That said, I believe whole-heartedly in network marketing and use products from many of them. I’ve just started using Watkins cleaning products; Tastefully Simple’s Merlot Sauce is a staple in our kitchen; Princess House crystal is perfect for entertaining or every day use; and the Autumn Walk candles from Gold Canyon are a delight.

I may be a bit biased as I’m a Stella & Dot Stylist, but I absolutely LOVE our products…it’s the main reason I chose S&D as the company I wanted to join. That being said, I have enjoyed many products from other direct sales companies over the years, especially CAbi and Mary Kay. I love the idea of getting some friends together, reviewing a line of merchandise AND having a glass of wine at the same time. It’s all good!!

I agree with Jami, the Medina bib necklace is a must!! It’s just the right weight to sit beautifully on your neck and the little bit of sparkle makes it truly special…but my fave for spring this year is the Bamboleo. The pictures just dont’ do it justice! If you have a chance to see it in person, be sure to pick it up and take a closer look. The colors, quality and details are just stunning!!

Many thanks to you for great posts every day. Truly appreciated!!

What a great idea. I think it’s so important for direct sellers to support other direct sellers. Since I need so much help in the kitchen, Pampered Chef is one of my favs. My Runway necklace and earring from Premier Jewelry go with everything! Juice Plus chewables help keep me healthy. Just recently I was introduced to Wildtree products and their grape seed oils. And of course I use my Votre Vu products everyday to keep my skin glowing.

I have my new Scentsy Tea Rose plugin warming Flutter, the April Scent of the Month. Very light and springy smelling. We had German Chocolate Molten Lava Cake w/coconut pecan frosting as the “lava” in the Deep Covered Baker for dessert.

A friend of mine is an Avon consultant. When it comes to cosmetics, for value, quality and convenience you can’t beat them!

I am with Phoenix Trading and I can hand on heart say, I personally use their products EVERY SINGLE DAY! Whether it is to send a thank you card to a hostess, a note card to keep in touch, or a birthday card for friends and family – I love their innovative style and value for money.
