Here is a collection of links to various websites and services that I feel are useful for direct sellers. Please note, some of these are affiliate links (which means you buy me a cup of coffee if you sign up for some of these services through the links below.) I ONLY choose to be an affiliate for programs that I feel bring extreme value to direct sellers.
Enjoy!
HOW TO: Use Social Media Marketing for Your Direct Sales or Network Marketing Business – This is the ultimate resource of posts I’ve written on how to use social media marketing for your business…all organized in one place! One day, this is going to be the basis of the content in the book that I write for direct sellers!
Social Media Tools
- Aweber – An absolutely FANTASTIC autoresponder program. If you’d like to be able to schedule regular follow-up messages to customers, and regularly-spaced training for recruits, as well as send a great enewsletter, this program is the best I’ve used (I’ve been through 3 of them.)
- DimDim – This is currently my favorite web conferencing tool (great for online events and opportunity meetings). It’s free for up to 20 seats, includes video of the presenter, and provides a whiteboard, the ability to co-browse a website, and the ability to pass host controls back and forth.
- Instant Teleseminar – This is the service I use to provide tele- and web-conferences. The tools are easy to use, provides both a phone and webcast option, and recordings can be posted about 2 seconds after a teleconference ends. Makes my life easy! If you’re a leader that does a lot of team training, and think that a hosted recorded might be a good option for you, check this out.
Direct Sales Trainers
- Julie Anne Jones – Julie and I have collaborated on several projects (including a recorded version of my uber-popular Social Media Made Simple comprehensive course.) She is a master when it comes to the language to make your parties super-successful. When I ran my direct sales company, I hired Julie as the keynote speaker for our first national convention, and I just love her energy and enthusiasm. Her techniques are easily duplicatable, and she will help you be more successful in your party plan business.
- Lisa Robbin Young – Lisa will always hold a special place in my heart. She gave me my first speaking gig on social media as part of her Direct Sales Success Summit, after we had a rousing conversation on Twitter related to social media’s impact on the direct selling industry. Her Home Party Solution provides some great tools for the direct seller interested in internet marketing.
Blogs I Contribute To
- The Mogul Mom – Heather McCarron Allard has a fantastic blog with resources for moms running businesses from home (not just direct sales.) Heather has a true giver’s heart, and provides some amazing resources that every mom in business should know about. I contribute articles every few weeks on how moms in business can be using social media.
- Direct Selling Leaders – Sarah Robinson is another fab lady I met on Twitter. She runs a few blogs, but the one I contribute articles to is her Direct Selling Leaders blog. She’s established a fabulous panel of experts that provide info on every aspect of running your direct sales business successfully.
- Luce & Associates Blog – I work with the fabulous Alan Luce, direct sales corporate legend, and his amazing team of associates, helping direct sales companies (both new and established) take their businesses to the next level. The Luce & Associates Blog is where we share some of our collective wisdom, very pertinent to direct selling executives. (If you’d like to learn more about the social media services I provide to direct sales companies, along with the rest of the services we provide, you may also be interested in checking out the Luce & Associates website.)
